I wish I discovered this makeup trick earlier on in life, because I'd be doing it ALL the time. It's never too late! Happy to start the new year with a trick that is less than $5, available in most households & so effective.
Who remembers the original Labello?! Recently, I got my hands on the newer upgraded version of the Labello lip balm stick in "Pomegranate Shine" to moisturise my lips this winter, but I didn't realise I could use it for other reasons too as its got a soft reddish tint & is deeply moisturising. I randomly decided to apply the lip balm directly on my undereye dark circles where the veins were the darkest in color. The thought felt a little strange at first, but I went in sparingly and applied my hydrating concealer over it.
The Results: I was incredibly impressed that I didn't need a corrector, and the lip balm actually moisturised the undereye area so well, that I didn't need an eye cream either. I was scared it might turn grey after a few hours, but I kept it on the whole day and the undereye area remained bright, & the concealer didn't slide off either. It kept my undereyes looking fresh & dewy through the day. It's good for those who like a natural-looking concealer finish, with buildable coverage. I'm also happy about the idea of not using a corrector everyday, and cutting down the makeup I use on myself everyday to keep my skin looking/feeling healthier - "LESS IS MORE". What about you?
